The Hospital has necessary infrastructure to meet the needs of a modern eye centre, essential for the diagnosis and treatment of various eye disorders including sophisticated laser delivery systems and ultrasonographic instruments.
The Hospital has 2 sophisticated operation theatres of international standards for performing a variety of micro surgical procedures and has got 15 bed facilities divided into three different categories of wards for treatment to general and post operative cases. All the diagnostic and treatment facilities are made available to the patients under one roof with most competitive pricing policy

Human Resources :

Front Office Team :

Having undergone rigorous in house training at R.K.SHAH Hospital, they are competent in managing the entire front office job which includes organizing the appointment schedules for doctors, registration, counseling the patients and providing them information about the hospital facilities.
We are proud to say that the entire hospital is computerized. Our staff are young, dynamic, well educated and computer literate.

OPD Team :

OPD staff after the vigorous training programme as per the ISO norms are deployed in outpatient ward to assist the doctors during the examination of the patients. They are well versed with the OPD examinations like VFT, shirmer’s test, color vision test, visual acuity test, refraction by auto ref, preparing the patient for IOP measurement, OPD equipment maintenance, Biomerty preparation, Pachyetry etc. They are trained to give instructions for the patients regarding the medicines and contact lenses.

Operation Theater Team :

Operation Theatre is an important zone in any eye hospital. We have taken utmost care in picking up the staff to work in surgical rooms. They have been trained for all the activities like patient care before, during and after the surgical procedures. They are well versed with sterilization procedures, O T room cleaning procedures, instruments and linen management, equipment maintenance, biomedical waste management and maintenance of vital records. Our OT staff is well trained and experienced to take up any type of task for both emergency and elective procedures.

Optical Team :

Our optical team is well informed about all types of spectacle lenses, frames and contact lenses. They are patient friendly and assist them in selecting the prescribed lenses and frames depending on their requirements. They are quite sincere in after-sale services. They are also trained under ISO norms and they are constantly updated about the advances in the optical field

R.K.SHAH Hospital has done remarkable work Every Saturday at BCC & UCC respectively & also during major camps as listed in below table for milk producers by taking care of their eyes.
R.K.SHAH Hospital has organized free eye camps for the members of societies aligned with remote area by which our poor & financially backward milk producers & his family get primarily check up of eye, free spectacle distribution to deserve & free operation of cataract & other eye operation give new vision to our deserving society members.

Our Needs :

At present, We propose to acquire the most needed equipment of the following description to upgrade our services and bring them on par with other comparable medical establishments ! These proposed additions will help us serve those centers that are located on the periphery of Kalol & adjacent to Kalol.
